Frequently Asked Questions

How're your tools & studio cleaned?

Before and after your appointment, our tools and the environment are sterilized using barbicide and rubbing alcohol to prevent the risk of infection. They're hospital grade, EPA approved disinfectants, ensuring our studio is clean and maintained to the highest possible standard.

What do I need to do prior to my appointment?

1. We ask that you remove all eye makeup. Having eye makeup on, can hinder the adhesive when the extensions are applied. If you show up with makeup, you'll have to wipe off your eye makeup prior to the service being performed, which will cut into your appointment time. We will do our best to try and pickup lost time, however, the results may be inconsistent due to the restrictions from time and makeup residue. 2. No caffeine 4-hours prior to your appointment. Caffeine affects the twitch rate of your eyes, which affects the stability of your eyelids. If you're having eyelash extensions applied or removed, this can be problematic. 3. If you wear contact lenses, please bring a contact container. Try to wear glasses or bring a container for your contact lenses. You will be able to remove your contacts prior to beginning your appointment. Wearing contact lenses during your session may cause eye irritation during the eyelash application process. 4. Limit guests to 1. There is limited space to perform precision work, therefore we can only accomdate our employee, the scheduled guests, +1. We apologize for the inconvenience.

How can I reschedule my appointment?

Review the original email that was sent with the initial appointment request and you will see a a rescheduling option. Pick a date and time that's open, and will work for you. Any appointments rescheduled within 24-hours of the original appointment time will result in a 100% fee charged upon your next visit.

Late to appointment?

If you're up to 15 minutes late to your appointment, your service will still be performed, and you will be charged for your full booked service amount. However, results may vary due to time constraints. After 15 minutes, you will be considered a no-show and will be charged 100% of your service(s) per our cancellation policy. If you're unable to locate our studio, or may run late, please give us a call at (612) 440-6093

How long do the eyelash extensions last?

They last UP TO 6 weeks with proper care. This can be done by brushing your lashes daily, staying away from oil-based products (in regards to eyelash products), limit eye makeup usage (especially eyeliners). It'll also vary based the client's daily routine and skin type. We recommend refills every 2-3 weeks to maintain a full look.

What happens after my appointment?

1. Do not wet lashes for 24-hours. 2. Brush daily. 3. Stay away from oil-based eye products. 4. Limit makeup usage, especially eyeliner. 5. Avoid rubbing/pulling your lashes. 6. Do not use eyelash curler on your extensions. 7. Avoid using the sauna or taking hot showers. If you do any of the above, you may need to come in sooner than 2 weeks for a refill if extensions are falling out.

I'm losing lashes. Why is that?

Everyone loses 2-3 natural lashes per eye, daily. There are also cases of customers who shed more than others, just like hair. Side sleepers, or sleeping on your stomach will cause your lashes to fall out unknowingly. If you're on medications, that can also cause you to lose your extensions faster.

How do I remove my lashes?

You must come in and get your lashes removed. They can also be removed by any professional. Removals are done by using professional grade, removal gel. If this procedure is not completed by a professional, your natural eyelashes will come off with your extensions.

How're the extensions applied?

Eyelash and eyebrow extensions are applied directly to each of your natural lashes. We use a cyanoacrylate based adhesive to apply your extensions. Allergic reactions are very rare, and if you're known to have any allergic reactions to eyelash glue, please advise our stylists in your appointment notes and prior to your appointment.

Are there age restrictions (18+)?

If you're under 18 years old. Your parent/guardian must be present with you during your appointment, and will have to sign a consent form.
